    Default X50 (Horn) Laser False

I know I've seen this before on the site but after a search, I couldn't find anything.

I've never used my Horn before but I used it for the 1st time tonight.
After I blew the horn I got a laser false on my X50. Just to make sure, I
tried a few time and the same thing happen. Is there anyway to keep this
false from happening? I guess it's the electrical system that's causing this.

I mounted mine really high, well one reason because their is no laser in my area yet. Another is because of the horn deal, mine does the same thing. Usually because a noisy electrical system. It doesnt do this in other vehicles I put it in so that has to be it. When mounted high, mine doesnt false when the horn is blown.

The best advice is to just live with it. Horns create tremendous amounts of noise, electrical and RF. If that's the only issue that you have with laser falsing then just ignore it and move on.

Yeah, I never really use the Horn but I figured that if that will set it off other things may as well that I haven't realized yet. Last thing I want to happen is to be surprised with a Laser false and it scare the !@#$ out of me. We've all experienced that moment where you get tapped with " Instant On" and your heart Skips a few beats.

I think I may just leave it. Don't really know what else I can do.

Yep, this happened to me this past weekend and I was set at cruise control on the PSL on a lonely stretch of road with just me. Yet, I get lost in the moment and still hit the brakes even though I'm legal, lol.

Its all electrical. I would sugest that you get something like this

From an electronics store. Wrap the cable around it a few times so the wire fits pretty snug inside. It should filter out the RF noise.
