Greetings; First post here.
After reading the boards, I have yet to see my specific
question brought up.
I have been looking at 9500I, mainly due to the GPS feature.
Here in Dallas, TX - red light cameras are sprouting up everywhere, faster than weeds do.
The ads for the 9500I state; it will detect red light cameras.
Can anyone give a real life report on how well the 9500I does with red light cameras?
Also, I have read the countless posts regarding Trulock.
If indeed, Escort needs to come out with a patch for Truelock, and until Escort does, then wouldnt it be easier to just hit the "mute" button on the Smartcord? and only lockout the areas which are known as a proven areas for false alerts?
It just seems to me, that hitting the "mute" button is safest way to go.
Am I missing something as far as the technology on the 9500I.
In all honesty, it seems like the more you read about it, the more confusing it gets. It seems like if the 9500I was such a massive failure, as it has been posted to be, Escort would of stopped selling it, and made a massive correction, and had a new rollout.
Thank you in advance.
