    Default Do I need help?

I came to this site wanting to buy A new detector and looking for some good info. Now I have a new 9500i, XTR690 and Sti(not including my old Bel 895). I justified this by telling myself I have 3 vehicles so I need 3 new detectors. Do I need to buy a 4th vehicle so I can get a V1? I think I may have a decision/commitment problem. :?

edit: oops - meant to post in general...

naaa you don't need a forth car. the best tip I could give you would be to keep 2. primary and a backup. this way you can learn to trust one, and you'll notice if anything is wrong with it.

    4 detectors!

My ideal combo would be a 9500I (for silent around town driving) and a V1 or STI (for highway driving). If you ever go to VA than stick with the STI if not the V1 would be awesome in NC on those long highways.

It will be hard to trust 4 different detectors. You only need 2 and switch them up depending on where your driving.

I really like leaving a detector in 2 of my cars and not switching them out. So I guess I really want to keep 3, 2 in service and 1 spare/3rd vehicle detector. But I don't need 4(or5)!

When I joined this site a couple years ago it was because I had a question about my V1. Now I have the V1, plus an X50 and RX65... and some radar and laser guns too. I think it goes with the territory.

Problem is, I have a car and my wife has a car, so that's 3 detectors for 2 cars.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
