it was a navigation system, not a radar detector. probably didnt sell very well(id be surprised if it sold at all)

Not likely, if you are brave enough to open the 9500i and examine the GPS assy, you'll see that the GPS module is a Jupiter30. That isn't made by Garmin, its an SIrf OEM product I believe.Originally Posted by nascar
OOPs, it isn't SIrf, it's made by NAVMAN. The module uses an SIrf GPS chipset. Check at navman.com.
