new x50 owner report
I have had my new x50 for about a month. It falses very little and has great range. Was very impressed with two radar radar encounters, one was with a leo sitting across the street from a store with a k band door opener, had expert meter running picked up the door and the officer using his radar gun, have seen many cars pulled over in that location for the last week, not me thank you x50. Was traveling down the interstate pick up a varying k band signal no cars in front no cars in back of me. where are they hiding? Finally saw a tiny white dot in rear view mirror. Pulled off my exit sat at red light below interstate, x50 still alerting about 50-60 seconds later police car passed by WOW great range from rear.
Update:
Read the sml 2005 test, was not surprised with the result except the v1 not detecting ka pop. (Purchased a v1 long time ago it was almost blind to constant on ka hmmmm) Sure the v1 was better on laser but if you are not using Veil or a jammer then all that warning serves is to tell you when to pull over and get your wallet out. You can detect pop in time to check your speed and adjust if necessary. I will use the extra money not spent on a v1 and invest in a Veil, Blinder combo. The v1 is good just not worth the extra money. ($467.00 with case and concealed display)
