according to the gol test x50 did better on ka then rx65

I was looking at the Gol Test early and I had notice that the escort x50 perfom better then the rx65 in ka band. Has anyone ever notice that, why do you think this is like this.

so if the rx65 was used in usa mode how will thest be better then the x50 would it still come close or no

hard to say, but probably not. i have both and what i can say is that the x50 rules on k band period, the rx65 is kind of known for being one of the better ka band detectors. the rx65's k band is not as good as the x50's but the x50's ka band is not as good as the rx65's. either on will do you well. the x50's ka band detection is not all that bad and the rx65's k band is not all that bad. it really comes down to what one you prefer. as in my case ka band is the biggest threat so i first went with the rx65 but i also wanted to try out an x50. my conclusion:

X50: awesome k-band ,tons of user features, ka-band detection will still do you well, the red display costs $40 less than the rx65.

RX65: GREAT ka-band detection, has voice, ku-band, the k-band performance is ok ,smaller if that matters, costs the same as an x50 blue

or just get them both like i did
