x50 falling off mount
Lately my rd has been falling off the stock escort windshield mount. This usually happens if I hit a bump or a pothole. I'm kinda confused b/c this just started happening and I'm wondering if this is the spring mechanism failing inside the rd or if it is the windshield mount. I bought this thing in december so it should still be covered under warranty, does escort cover this type of thing??
The X50 is falling off the actual mount, not the mount off the window, right?
Take the mount off, stick it in the X50 all the way. Pull on it, and see if it comes out. You could try different notches.
correct, i'll try the other notches to see if they do the same thing. Is this covered under warranty?
It should be. If anything, this is a workmanship defect.
