I can't wait till someone figures it out.
Among other things, it would be nice for a national known speed trap data exchange (i.e. share marked locations) and for potentially allowing us to perform our own software updates without having to send it in to Escort.
I would never use if for sharing TrueLock locations, of course.
Glad to see someone has finally given up waiting on Escort to do this and started exploring on their own.
Shame on escort for advertising this for over a year yet still not supporting this (IMO significant) capability.
Even if they do release the software soon it may prove useful as you might find you are able to do more then their software allows.
I sure hope they allow for some advanced customizations like speed as mentioned before.
For me the biggest issue with the 9500 is its huge 1-mile lockout of bogeys, which is only useful in rural areas. It would be very nice if the software allowed you to assign smaller radius to the various lockout locations. In most urban locations 1/4 mi would be more than adequate--a full mile radius on just a few locations ends up locking out a whole city.
