Scratches on my x50

Hello RD fans! I'm happy that I've founded this site and forum cauz i like RD and especially Escort.
I'm using escort x50 red (it saved my money and driving licence several times). Today I noticed a little scratch on the lens. How can this little scratch affect rd sensivity?

by the way does anybody noticed that in Mischief (most popular streetracing videos (www.mischief.tv) the only RD's mounted in the cars are V1 and x50 escorts? that prooves that these rd's are the best.
I was very unpleased when i heard from my czech friend who use V1 - "I never heard of Escort, but the best are V1, and if Escort is cheaper than V1, it's possibly some crap" i'm thinking of getting rid of such friends. Am I RD fanatic?
