Default Do the X50 or RX65 have a remote display option?

I'd like to get one of these detectors, but since I live in VA where its illegal to operate an RD, I require the concealed display. I love my V1, but would like to keep it in one vehicle and the X50 or RX65 in the other. That way I could have the best of the best all around.

I don't know if either does or not. I live in VA and have used a RD for years and haven't been busted yet...

smartcord comes standard but can be tough to conceal. might consider the smart cord/direct wire that will allow you to put the RD up high for easier concealment.

It wouldnt be difficult to do. I'm not about to sacrafice mine for the sake of science but from what i have seen of the electronics - it should be simple - the display is a self contained unit on the board with approximately eh 10 leads on it. a soldering gun and a ten lead wire with some fancy handywork could do a custom job. That would definitely void the warranty. Not a chance I would attempt it in the next year.

This is theoretical - in no way do i recommend it.
