Sctottsdale PD shooting KA Band (Pictures)

Scottsdale PD shooting KA band radar towards oncoming traffic from a stop sign. He didn't notice me for about 20 seconds so I enjoyed the watching him shoot traffic and my Escort Passport at full blast. I was in a GMC Arcadia rental car. Here are two pictures taken from my iPhone so the quality isn't too good. Look closely and you can see him hanging out of the window pointing a Talon Radar.

LEO's by me do this all the time, at the bottom of an inclined bridge.... cars gain extra momentum in a 30 mph zone and bam they get a ticket.

did the cop essentially block you from proceeding through the intersection for a period of time? (since he failed to notice you for 20 seconds)

damn i love the GMC Acadia. Such a great crossover. IMO the best design an American CUV has yet. I cant wait till it comes out with V8.

I was coming out from a gated community so traffic at the stop sign is very low. I would say he did not notice me coming up on him, so the time I was actually waiting behind him was about 10-15 seconds. I didn't have much problem with it though I was enjoying the show and watching everyone hit their breaks after passing him.

Yeah its a real nice suv/crossover and it is very fuel efficient too. One of the nicer rental cars I've gotten.
As you mention about power, I don't blame you for waiting for a V8, the stripped down rental could do with some more horses.
