    Default X 50 Required?

Do I need to keep X 50 Blue or sell it off.........since I have only been targeted by laser........Leos here use Laser, all other bands are useless...........so in short X 50 detects but is of no utility if I buy ZR3/4.........am I corrrect?

    Hoping to hear your thoughts,

    Regards!

Assuming you never drive out of your county, never take road trips, never visit another city, yes.

However, if you ever do leave your city/county you will not only have to deal with those local LEOs, but the Highway Patrol. That is where having a quality RD saves you since they will probably use a mix of K, I/O K, Ka and I/O Ka guns.

Also, always run with a rabbit.

I think your X-50 is a perfect interface with the ZR3 and maybe the Zr4. If so, you can hardwire the ZR3 interface, plug all your laser sensors into the interface, and have one wire to your X-50 that will then give you all your alerts including the laser. In other words you don't need the extra alert box on the ZR3 to keep track of because your RD gives you any alerts.

I have the Bel LP 905 hooked into my Bel RX 65and that's the way it works. Even comes on and off with your car since i wired it to the ACC connection on my car. A great way to interface your laser and RD system IMO. I would check it out first before buying to see if that's the way a ZR3/4 could work with your X-50.
The ZR4 is supposed to be improved so I would check that first when it's available.

All LIDAR guns function at night. They all use IR lasers. No RD offers any protection for them, at best you'll get a notification when you're hit by a LIDAR... which means a ticket.

If you want protection from LIDAR you want a jammer. There are 3 top-end jammers on the market.
Laser ProPark, Laser Interceptor and Anti-Lazer G8.

Escort is about to release their new laser jammer which will be called the ZR4. It is coming out in the next few weeks. If you can I would suggest waiting for it to release and to see the first few reviews before you make a jammer purchase.

It's still not available. Should be out sometime in April.

If anyone is offering to sell it to you, they're lying.

Whoa, whoa whoa. You live in Orlando, right? Orlando, Florida? How have you not came across Ka. And where is it that you're getting shot with laser. I can never find them.
