9500ci pre-order on Escort site/ ZR4?

Did anyone happen to notice Escort has the 9500ci advertised on their site today as a Pre-Order for shipping in April? $1599 with Laser Shifter. Maybe it's been there longer but hadn't seen it.

You have to buy it with the laser shifter included. I could not find any mention of the ZR4 being the laser shifter that comes with it and the ZR4 is not listed yet as a separate item. Neither was the 9500ci listed as a item by itself.

Is this something new?

Thought i had seen something posted on it but must have been their site too. So the 9500ci will be sold as a radar/laser system and not as a RD? Seems funny they didn't mention the ZR4 shifter, just a shifter, as far as i could see.

Yes, but if you do not want the laser jammers, the Bel STi-R is the same RD without the GPS capabilities or the laser jammers. The Bel does however come with selectable Ka bands, while the 9500CI will not.

Was thinking more about the Price$. Sounds like the 9500i & a ZR4 would be good upgrade for the price difference. Get Radar/Laser/GPS although the 9500ci sound like it may have a few new tech features.

Early reports on the 9500ci and the Bel STi-R say that detection range is definitely improved over the 9500i and some reports say that they also beat the V1.
