Mounting iusse due to windshield angle

I have a 2008 Cadillac CTS and my new 9500i. I cant get the radar detector level due to the angle of the windshield. If the mount had one more slot it would be level to the flat base.

Any suggestions... I thought about adding something to the two black pieces that contact the windshield to decrease the angle.

Instead slightly bend the bracket. It sounds like you will need to slightly decrease the angle in the bracket.

Hmmm. The feature set could be expanded to include a voice alert stating "your dectector is now level..."
