K-Band going nuts on I-20 in Fort Worth....

Hey Guys & Gals,

I live in Southwest Fort Worth and lately when I get on I-20 going west at Trail Lake my X50 starts detecting two K-Band's Full bars in Expert mode at McCart all the way to about Hemphill and then again at Forest park exit until Campus Drive exit. WTF!! I see no cops at all. OH, this is in the Morning about 6:30-6:45am. Seems like it started just in the last week. It's really got me puzzled. The only I can think of is School starting up. Does the X50 detect school buses??

Has anyone noticed this on this patch of Highway?? Any help would help or advice would be appreciated.

Yes most school bus will give you 2 K then sometimes when you get neat a burst of 1 Ka

Leave it in expert mode, its da bomb!

Im pretty sure its the school buses. I live across the street from a school and it always goes off when there is school buses around. The drones are in the front and back of the buses

There is a big agricultural tractor that drives on the edge of the road that has a K band drone and is left on next to this rock quarry when parked. I can only pick it up about 1/8 of a mile or 1/4 mile.

Ft Worth ISD has them on most of their buses...VERY annoying.

Many ISD in Tarrant County, including Birdville ISD, Colleyville/Grapevine.

I was at Sycamore HS in Ft. Worth playing baseball with like 8 buses that had K drones. Oh my that got old. Looks like I was in your neck of the woods f399

yeah those things get real annoying, i wouldnt be suprised if i ignore a real K cop!

the X50 was absolutley useless because every schoolbus shows 2K, kinda nice the V1 goes to 8Bogeys?

School buses are annoying enough as they are. If they ever put radar drones on our school buses, they might mysteriously disappear overnight...

Also, if drones exist to alert detector users, why do buses need 2 of them? One per bus should be more than sufficient. Also, maybe they should have the drones go on only when the bus is stopped and the flashers are on...
