    Default 9500i mount

I have my 9500i mounted high with the suction cup mount but I have noticed it jiggles alot like it is not on the mount good.I have it all the way to the last notch and it still wiggles alot.It doesn't bounce up and down because it rests against the windshield but it shakes like it is not secure on the mount good..Any suggestion on how to get it more still?

I actually have the right side of my 9500I just leaning on top of the rear view mirror. It never shakes.

^ My setup also touches my Cheetah GPS-Mirror for extra support:

mhardy, keep trying to play with it, this takes some time and practice to get "just right."

TSi+WRX: Is that Baby-Anna in the back? Looks like she is saying: Jeez dad, if you're going to take pictures, I'll drive so we can get the show on the road here.

CJR238 and TSi+WRX: Both very nice set-ups, wish I had the money for one right now, but I'm spending it elsewhere, and I guess I already have enough of the high-end RD's as is. ops:

    ROFL!

    That's her.

The picture is smudged/unclear because of my lack of photography skills.... ops: The Cheetah GPS-Mirror is of the utmost optical clarity, and I *love* it that I can see what she's doing in the back, as well as get such awesome coverage of my blind spots.

^ That's what my old "baby mirror" used to look like. And no, that's not an optical-grade mirror, either. It's one of those crappy things they sell at Babies-R-Us. I could barely see Anna smile, in that little mirror.

With the Cheetah, I can see her individual HAIRS!

    Thankyee!

With Anna, now, my "fun fund" is severely limited, too!

    Hey TSI-

Where is your hard wire coming from?

It looks like it is routed along the RVM.

I had mine hard wired yesterday and will post pics as soon as I become computer literate.

CC ran the wire up through the headliner from the left and put the mute button near the speedo cluster, looks sharp. 8)

BTW, totally worth the $32.95 they charged me.

It took a guy who knows what he's doing over two hours to do it, Those hours usually correlate to days for me.

i also had that problem with my 9500i

i found there was a sweet spot, with having 1 suction cup just barely above the other, and it worked well because of my slightly sloped windshield, i managed to get it looking super strait, and keep it from jumping for the most part

the hard part was finding that sweet spot

Radar detectors are like women, they all have there sweet spots, and some are hard to find.
