Default Expert Mode saves the day

So I was driving northbound on 93 this morning and I get my usual X band reading near the city. But then to my surprise the X50 shows another X band signal. This signal built up for about a mile to 4 bars or so. I slowed down to see why this "false" hadn't gone away, and sure enough in another .5 miles there is a state trooper using constant on X band. The funny thing is that I was planning on turning X band off that morning as I have never seen any staties using it, and I get so many falses in the city. Well from now on I guess I'll have to pay attention to those X and warnings.

I can't tell you how many true stories about X band I have heard just within the last few weeeks. It seems that X band is still alive and well everywhere or at least in many states.

I can't believe that expert mode is not default mode. It's all I run.

The expert mode and the threat mode feature of the belcorts RD's is better in design and performance than the bogey counter of the V1 because it surely tells you which band and signal strength is a threat. Thos is what i like about using this feature. I always put it in this mode when i used and tried all top 3 RD's.
