Some high res pictures of the Escort 8500 x50 for your viewing pleasure - many component numbers readable

Hint hint: The processor is an 8-bit microcontroller from Motorola/Freescale

Very very nice, I wish I had my HDTV hooked up to my computer... but at this moment I'm on an antique monitor which does no justice to the pictures.

    Nice pictures though!

Nice pics! Is it an S7 or M4 platform?

Only 8-bit? Imagine if they crammed a Core 2 Duo in there. Granted, cooling would be an issue, but imagine how powerful the anti-falsing algorithms could be.

At that point my RD would have (much) more processing power then my computer.

    M4

About the processor, I truly don't think more processing power can help with the filtering. Unless you can think of complex filtering algorithms that won't run on the processor. But they all seem to be very simple.
