Does my radar have Vg-2 stuff?

A guy emailed me asking if it had it. While I was responding (saying it did not) I got another email and assumed it was the other guy who emailed me. (They were right after each other.)

It ended up being him and his second email said it did and he would buy it from me so I got nervous and jumped over here. I thought it didn't but the newer ones did?

What brand/model? If its an 8500 or 8500 x50, 9500xx then yes you have VG2 protection (reference wwwdotescortradardotcom or google if you're lazy like me).

You're selling the 8500? Let me know what you get. My wife hates the 8500 and wants the stupid Cobra back. I may sell both the 8500 and the 955 and put toward a 9500 or a V1....

It's just the regular old 8500. Rev. 13 if that helps. The anceint-500 more like it. (crickets)

The Cob!? That is turning the knife. Damn I had the thing in the case tonight and am doing 70 in a 55 when I see brakes and slow down to 65 and there he is. Lucky for me most of traffic was cruising too but I could of known way in advance and not try to race the guy in the Dodge who was trying to get my lane!
Moral of story: They are the best.


I was asking $110. It includes the unit, the smart cord (that has a broken tab thingy) a new bracket with extra cups and the manual. I may include the travel case I have in the car. Keep the camera case for the hopefully X50 I am buying...
