    Default 9500ix on it's way!

I have a question, what does everyone do with their detectors when you get to work? I think that the heat isn't good for the unit, but maybe not.

    Thanks

I take mine down and put it in my little camera bag and then into the armrest thing in my one car or the door panel storage or passengers floor in the other. I have the sun shade up too so I try and find the darkest place to hide it out in.

I need to get a camera bag for it that will fit. The one I have is like the exact same size as my 8500 so I can't zip it close. I guess it's off to Wal Mart one of these days...

I just leave it up. It’s mostly covered by my tint strip so it very difficult for thieves to see and protects it from the sun.

That's exactly what I do for the same reasons. Taking it up and down gets real old real quick.

If I have my car in for service or something I take it down.
