I have a 9500i with a ramp-up problem and a build date of 2307.
I would like people who have actually called Escort to get their detector fixed to share what the process is like.
- Would I have to send them a copy of my receipt?
- How long does it take?
- Is it hard to convince the people that the detector actually has a problem?
- Does it have to be within the 1 year warranty period?
Lastly sine the detector has a USB input is it possible for me to upgrade the software myself in order to fix the problem? Or is it also a change in hardware that occurs?
