Default My 9500ix Install

Couple shots of my 9500ix install in my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Yes the GPS is working great in the new position. I used to have it on the Visor with the 9500i. But I found manually locking out such a chore I never cared. Now I do :-)

That's a nice mounting spot.

Anyyyyyyyy chance you'd be willing to trade for your red display?

Really nice job there, that's the way they should be mounted.

Good question, I know many of you run a smart cord. I don't. Especially with the autolockout now I hope/plan to never have to touch it except to upgrade software. I run it low enough with automute that it's not annoying even with a boggie rolling behind you. I can see and hear it fine. That's why I want/buy a quiet detector. I think the ix will fill the bill.

Hi mswlogo,

I can't really tell from the pictures, but it looks like your passenger visor will just clear the 9500ix when pulled down? Anyway, that is a really neat install!
