Default Got my upgraded red display 9500ix and integrated it to my stereo

It was tough driving without my 9500i, but it was worth the wait for my red display 9500ix. I sent it in the case without any of the accessories and received it back with a free smartcord and suction clip. My true lock locations were still stored despite the service rep telling me they woudn't be. The new "auto no X" mode in addition to audo, city, highway is very convenient since I drive back and forth between X-land jersey and X-less nyc. I do think that the GPS acquistion seems improved. It still has the annoying GPS signal loss alert unfortunately. I also now have it hooked up along with my Laser Inteceptor and Garmin Nuvi to an audio interface that mutes and plays through my car's front speakers. I learned the hard way you can't use a headphone splitter for inputs. Luckily, I didn't fry my devices. I got the Mix-It2 to combine the stereo and mono inputs (with integrated ground isolation). I have my Laser Interceptor hooked up to the Mix-It2's dedicated mono input that automatically mutes the other inputs.

with all the wired tucked behind the dash and trim, there's nothing much to capture with pictures in regards to the audio integration. otherwise, here's pics of my nuvi, sirius stratus (now a sporster 5), radar detector, and switches. my LI install pics are in this thread.

I guess you don’t care to see how fast your going, or you just use your 9500ix's speed read out.

Don't worry. My gadgets aren't covering anything but a A/C vent. The speedo is in the center and it's big enough to let everyone in and out of the car how fast I'm going.

    Greetings from Brazil, lacning74!

It seems "Mix-It2" is primarily used as a "Motorcycle Audio Amplifier and Mixer" and used (its output) inside motorcyclist helmets.

How did you install the Mix-It2? Did you put it between your car stereo system (CD or DVD player) and your speakers? If positive, how did you connect the output of the Mix-It2 to my car front speakers without impedance mismatching? As far as I know earphone and speaker outputs have different impedances.

I am insterested in using it with the "priority" for my GPS. I liked your idea of interfacing Mix-It2 only with the front speakers: congrats!

    Regards,

    Felipe
