Default 9500ix Buying Questions

I want to buy that detector for use in Europe, you might help me out with some answers to my questions:

- Anybody using this the 9500ix or the 9500i already over here and is happy with it ?
(as I read, it might has problems with Multanova, don't know if we have that) or
would recommend another one which is better over here ?
- The cam-database is US only, is it possible to upload my own cam-data with the software supplied ?
- I'm using a V895 now and haven't found any comparison tests, do I get a huge performance increase or is it just a little (so better keep my V895 and spend no money)?

Thanks for your replies

Until some one more knowledgeable comes along I'll say that i Believe the entire Escort brand is geared to North America, and Bel is more geared toward international use.

I think I saw some where that the 9500 sucks at narrow band detection (but don't' take my word for it)

X2, the ix is good but not as good as some other units for Europe.

To embrace technology is not to blindly except it. we must always question technology but never be afraid to use it.

Thanks, so what would you recommend, a V1 or RX65, by the way is the RX65 in INTL mode as good as the RX65E ?

If you got the extra $$$ V1, IMO. But the RX65 INTL will do very well too.
