Has anybody checked to see if they can change sensitivity while an alert is being received?

Hmm, I can't notice the difference, maybe beacause drive in 100% silence now
Is it that "only two beeps under 20 MPH" behavior or what?
Can you describe what exactly has changed? I'm bemused
With automute enabled, an alert will be at normal volume for 10-15sec, then drop to a lower, but now audible level. Before, at full volume, the muted level was too low to hear at highway speeds.

good to know.
this was the first Escort product where i didn't use the automute, for that reason.
guess its time to drag the laptop out..... again...
Apparently, now the automute level goes up and down based upon what you have the normal level set at. Haven't tested it that far yet.

Totally possible. My car is loud.

See this is why this detector to me is so sweeeettt... All of the bugs and stuff can be fixed in a matter of 10 minutes. And instead of doing 1 update every year yall have done about 3 or so in a month. All of the problems can be fixed. Ramp up in a few short minutes is fixed.
9500CI & STI-R - 9500CI Low Middle running K and Ka and STI-R Roof Mounted running 35.5 Ka only.
LASER INTERCEPTOR Mounted low left and right of 9500ci.
Starter Kill Switch - Finished, Computer Coded 4 Digit Imobilizer. Embeded into car computer system. Will Crank But won't start. And if wrong code is entered 3 times alarm will go off

That's the hope anyway. Assuming that the rampup is not hardcoded into the unit, a firmware fix shouldn't be too far down the road.

I had a 34.7 encounter and the automute helped a little. I had my volume set to max and I still had to sanatize my car to hear it. Windows down couldn't hear it.
