Ok guys here's what it does:

    1. Improved Laser lock out logic.
    2. Increased speed pilot limit to 255 mph
    3. Improved meter ramping
    4. Improved calibration of voltage circuit
    5. Fixed power on/off when turned off by the power button
    6. Added mark location capability during an alert
    7. Changed ZR3 to SHFT when a shifter is attached.

I also noticed that Escort now sells a Radar Detector 12 Volt Adapter ($20) and a USB cable ($10) for their 9500i and 9500ix radar detectors.

What strikes me is Focalcivic's number 4 note: Improved calibration of voltage circuit. If Escort is referring to the VCO circuitry, then this could mean a very slight boost in RD sensitivity! Or it could simply mean that the VCO circuitry can calibrate over a wider temperature range. Anyway, this is just a guess.

they had the USB cables for awhile.

Another thing, they have smartcords with straight wire instead of the curly wire

I just noted that the voltage circuit calibration thing applies to the red 9500i, not the blue one. Obviously that feature is already present in the blue 9500i RDs.

Do you have a summary of the updates for the 9500xi?

No, I don't have a clue since I don't have a 9500ix and haven't asked Escort about it. I think that you should do the online chat thing and post a thread about what the updates are.
