So I am in my Z, just starting to roll from a light with my 2-day-old 9500ix, when I get a weak Ka alert.
Where is the Leo?
If he is up ahead, thet alert might have been an I/O alert and I would have to watch my speed.
If he was rolling up behind me he would have to be way the heck back there, and I would simply put more space between the Leo and myself. (ther was some traffic behind me, blocking line of sight.)
If he was on the side street I was passing, (I looked, but could only see the front cars. Leo may have been behind one of those.) I would go much faster, to ensure no interaction between the two of us.
But, I never figured out what direction the alert was coming from, so I just drove slow.
I still intend to use the ix in my work van. The GPS features will be very welcome with all the city driving I do, and with no windows in the back of the van, arrows won't work anyway.
