The city setting doesn't lower the range on K and Ka
    Neither does highway effect it.
But Auto mode does effect somewhat.
I think the Auto mode lowers the response time thinking
whether its real or not. I personally don't trust Auto mode because ...
is it checking the frequency or what because what if an LEO 's radar drifted off the actual frequency??? would it not show him coming?

A and C has no effect on K and KA detection.

Just for the record I have said this before many times but I still feel that turning off bands is a very bad idea as I have been reading many posts about this issue and X band seems to be in use more then what some people want us to think. For this reason along I will never be turning off any bands.

I know City doesn't have anything to do with K and Ka but I have a strong idea that Auto does ...because it is using its own computer to tell whether an alert is real or not. Say if it picks up an leo using K instant on up ahead it may think at first that its a false so it doesn't alert ,,,but because it may had been a mile up the road....but the next alert it picks it up as the full blast K alert...and then your caught ops:
Just a possiblity that may come true...
BTW stelth Jammal ....how do you like your escort ZR3 ....I have thinked seriously on getting one...does it seem like it JTG alot or can you tell.????

I like the ZR3, it gives me plenty of time to slow down. I don't know if it has JTG in real encounters. You can check out the testing I did with the Guys of Lidar. First test results are on radarbusters.com and the recent results on the Ford Explorer test vehichle are at guysoflidar.com

After the GOL testing, I think the ZR3 is the best jammer on the market right now. This will no longer be the case when the Blinder and Antilaser prototypes come out in retail form. That is if the retail versions match the prototype performance.

This is, yet again, one of those things that no one REALLY knows the answer because Belscort don't tell us... so we're left guessing... does AUTO mode affect K and KA band at all?!?!?

Maybe Radar Roy could finally put this one to rest?

From the people I've talked to, and the testing that I've done. My opinion is that the different modes do not change K and Ka detection range. They only filter X band.
