Default Got the 9500ci Installed!

Well I finally had a day off and got the 9500ci installed. I did not mount the zr4 shifter heads but I may next week. Now all i have to do is get the car cleaned back up and take some pictures of the install to post for everyone's review.

I'll probably go out this evening looking for for some radar or laser speedtraps set up and see if I can get some video of the new system installed.

Looking good, how long did it take?

What kind of mount do you have the display attached to?

I spent about 5 hours installing it and mounted the display module to a Proclip mount that I had been using for my GPS system. I took the GPS out a few months ago and when I went to install things today I thought that would be a good location.

Wow, 5 hours. When I start to install things, it always takes me longer than I planned. Where is the speaker?

Mounted the speaker on the waterfall between the seats. I'll get some better pics tomorrow and show where everything mounted. I actually mounted 2 speakers there, one for the 9500ci and one for the LI.

It only took 5 hours because I knew exactly how to route everything since I recently installed the LI. I slao did not install the shifters so that saved me some time also.

You can put that GPS antenna almost anywhere, corner of the dash, rear deck. some have put in the 3rd brake housing, etc.

I put mine in the corner of the cargo area right behind the passenger seat. But in a Vette you can put it anywhere as the is nothing metal to block the signal.
