Maybe they've got a lot of stuff going on because of Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming up?
I find that Escort has, historically, "under-promised and over-delivered," when it comes to their time-frame estimates.
But there are two distinct things working against you, here, Fastgt....
(1) Like clips said, it's the holidays.
(2) Weather - which is an ancillary shipping concern.
I guess they say 2 weeks so they have a nice time frame to upgrade it and send it back.
That way people dont email and call saying hey!! where is my ****? you said 4-5 days and its been 6!!!
But I am sure it wouldn't take more than a few days to upgrade it and send it back.
A lot of people this week as take the whole week off. Escort may be a little short on manpower also.
Valentine One (3.858 Ice Cream Truck, 3.812 in Vette)
4 Head LI (On Vette) (7.11 CPU Regular heads front, HP Heads on the rear)
9500ci (On Vette)
LI Quad (On Ice Cream Truck)
LI Dual (On SRX, 7.06 CPU)
ProLaser II, ProLaser III, Stalker LZ-1, LTI Marksman & Laser Atlanta "R" (looking for an Ultralyte LRB)
2008 Corvette Z-51 Coupe
Escort 9500 ix (Cadillac SRX)
Good stuff!
But don't get too happy - remember, even southern Ohio's weather can be unpredictable during the winter months, and furthermore, when it gets really bad, they actually are much less prepared, when compared with the Snow-Belt that constitutes north-east Ohio.
Having lived in Cleveland now for just over 10 years, winter-weather related delays in shipping is something that is expected.
But like I said before, they traditionally under-promise, and over-deliver, so hopefully, you'll get your unit back before you even know it.
always set your customers up for failure so you can exceed there expectations.
