GPS Function & Visor Mounting The 9500ix

I have a 9500ix on the way replacing my visor mounted 8500x50 and am wondering if anyone has experimented with visor mounting taking note of the GPS reception.

The SiRFstar III chip works very well on my navigation devices sitting on the center console or in my house.

What do you guys know?

Where is the antennae located in the unit?
