Default RX65 and X50 automute and mute time delays???

RX65 automute function takes about 5 sec to activate and deactivate.
RX65 mute function when activated will mute for 18 sec after last threat.
X50 automute function takes about 5 sec to activate and deactivate.
X50 mute function when activated will mute for 5-6 sec after last threat.

What does this mean in the real world?

When X50 picks up radar, it'll sound at normal volume for approx. 5 seconds, then it continues to alert at a reduced (automute) volume. 5 seconds after the alert ends, X50 reverts back to normal volume for the next alert.

RX65 is similar, except it requires 18 seconds with no signal/alert to revert back to normal volume (based on what you posted, I don't have a RX65 to confirm).

Both will automute in 5 sec and then if NO SIGNAL IS DETECTED for 5-6 sec, they will be full audio for the next alert. However, if another signal is detected within that time frame, it will be automuted. This is trouble. Even more so when the rx65 is muted. The next full audio will not be heard until 18 sec after the last signal. If you encounter a new signal in that interval it will be muted. You do the math!!

This depends on the type of alert you get the second time around. If you got a initial K band alert and got another K band alert within that few seconds, it continues to auto mute. But if you get a Ka band alert the second time around after the initial K alert, it will give you the unmuted volume for a few seconds and then it auto mutes.

I did some x band and k band testing of the mute function:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RX65 with Xband alert muted will go full audio for 6sec with kband signal then will be muted until no alert (x or k)for 18 sec.
RX65 with Kband alert muted will not audio alert to Xband until no Kband alert and then will mute Xband alert in 6 sec. As above both remain muted for 18 sec.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
X50 with Xband alert muted will go full audio with kband signal. A second or two after the kband alert ends the xband alert goes full audio.
X50 with Kband alert mute will not alert to xband signal. If the kband signal is removed for 5 sec then applied we get full alert and if that is removed we get full xband alert as above.
