help any escort passport display

i found few days ago a post with pictures of an escort radar detector that has the display modified and integrated in front of steering wheel right side. it was not a model with remote or anything like that , was a simple 8500 , x50 or 9500i.
also i remember in the pic the display show the number of the radar frequency.
i plan do some mods and anything related with this subject (link, pic , diy) is a great help. i plan to remove the display from rd and relocate it in front console, drv side. thank you

anyone know if i run the wire from dispaly to a second display may affect the board? to be more clear to run 2 display from same board it will be ok special if i put the dim display on high ?

Excess current draw is likely going to be a problem and could fry the RD. I wouldn't try this at all.

well the option that i have left is one display in car dash with this method and second display in bike`s helmet with same method , and add another ph plug to rd for display output. a lot of work but is worth it.
