    Default 9500ix Mark Location

I know the true-lock has been on here extensivley. I am writing about the gps mark location feature. I marked a location of a known spd trap. Yesterday I went by the trap (no LEO's) and while the unit was telling I was approaching the location, it goes to full KA alert (he was in oncoming traffic 4 lanes over). Does anybody know if using this feature reduces or get's in the way of the RDD scanning for radar. Then this morning I was traveling a road that comes to with in sight of the highway where the marked location is and goes into speedtrap warning. This concerns me because a half mile down the road is a LEO substation and a quick 55-30 zone. Again does this intefear with the radar detector's main job of finding radar????

Good question. In this video, the 9500i still alerted to laser even though the guy had already marked the location as "speed trap". So I would say no.

Some of what you hear is his jammer... actually a good chunk of it is his jammer, that is why there is so much noise.

Idiot shouldn't JTG like he did though.

True, Djrams got pissed about that if I recall not to mention waving. I was impressed to see the 9500i alert to laser the whole time the front of the car was targeted. Laser detection or shifting isn't where Escort's reputation lies.

The ZR3/ZR4s are crazy sensitive to laser, it's output power they lack to be a top notch jammer. I think they are almost as sensitive as a V1.

He and I had a heated discussion about what he did there, but some around here defended him.

You know what has surprised me as to laser sensitivity? The STi-R is extremely sensitive. It picked up the LA in stealth mode that the V1 missed during our last testing session.

How could you possibly defend someone who waves at the officer like f-% mr officer. Those kind of actions will surely lead to getting pulled over,an on the road vehicle inspection which could lead to a obstruction of justice ticket if they want to carry it that far, which will ultimately lead to more states banning these devices under the ,"Obstruction of justice" law.LEO's aren't stupid. They surf the net looking at the latest countermeasures and to see how people are using and abusing them.If these kind of actions pick up,this will surely lead to more states banning rd's and laser devices with vehicle inspections if they have a vehicle that they can't get a reading on.It's only a matter of time.
