    Default Another Victim of SelfCal

Yep, its been said dozens and dozens of times. And I figured it wouldn't happen to me because I baby my detector (Anything over $250 should definately be treated with care right? 8) ) and I was driving, and I just happened to glance up at the X65 Pro. "SelfCal2" was the exact message then it dissapeared and displayed "H" that it had returned to highway mode. I have the detector behind the tint strip, my A/C was full blast, and I touched the detector the second it returned to highway mode and it wasn't even warm! So I don't think heat was a problem. The only thing I have heard of that may cause this is not manually turning it off before turning the vehicle off/on. I know for a fraction of a second if the vehicle is shut down when its on it will (briefly, and i mean briefly) display "LOW VOLTAGE". That's the only thing I can thing of, otherwise its brand new. I haven't had the detector for even 2 months! I got it from RadarRoy and I have no clue what could be up with it. I only received this message once (SelfCal2) so I can't replicate the problem. Anyone have any suggestions??

I get the same messages. I wouldnt worry as long as it doesnt say service required.

I would say, if it only does it once, and you let it go through the self-cal cycle and it doesn't do it again or say Service Required then you're ok.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
