9500ix Wish List

I wish the software would be upgraded to allow me to delete from the supplied GPS database, the stoplight cameras and speed cameras which either were never installed, or which were removed since installation.

I've tried to delete them and the unit appears to process the delete request, but it will not go through the final confirmation step of actually deleting the location.
It only allows me to delete ones that I have added myself.

A second wish would be for a DATABASE PROVIDER WEBSITE to which current registered users could post their own personal observations of corrections to the data, such as new cameras added, old cameras deleted, which they experience in their daily local driving areas.

This would be monitered at the other end by the database supplier who would review the data (along with their own proposed changes) and incorporate it future updates upon verification by them. A standard submission form could be used to submit the data and those submitting it would provide their current database download passcode to keep out junk reports.

All you need to do in this case is email allyoops and he will investigate it for you. I've had him remove 5 falses for me so far.

My 9500ix request list would be:

1. Stop falsing RLC's on the freeway.

2. Fix the detector tools 1.4 bug HERE, and to a lesser extent the bug HERE (the edit portion).

More wishes than requests ...

3. Arrows ... but I doubt we'll get this in the 9500ix. Probably the next big detector from Escort once the patent runs out.

4. "Unlimited" sensitivity. No need to limit sensitivity with AutoLearn/TrueLock.

Mine wouldn't restore my back up files now I have no saved locks and somehow I deleted the cam loc's also
