I do not think you can check the firmware for the 9500CI/STi-R.
there is no way
but you can always update to 1.3

NO! If Gator Bite is lucky enough to be using the original firmware version 1.0 and he updates it to any of the more recent firmware versions, then he is going to be really upset with the new and mangled audio ramp-up. I have made Escort aware of the issues and sent them videos. They are working on it.
They are?!?! That's big news! I was told they were not going to fix the bad rampup. While you're at it, since you seem to be in contact with someone of clout over there, can you have them figure out a way for me to eliminate my 35.9XX false alerts and have them improve the reaction times?
Hmmm... Interesting. Anyone else seeing this false? I'm pretty new to the 9500ci thing, only about 500 miles of drive time so far, but I haven't see a single Ka false. I have had two strange rear laser falses, once when a Hyabussa was screaming up on me, another time when I came around a turn and the sun hit my car.
I wonder if the 35.9XX false could be some leakage from another detectors LOC. Aren't you running a V1 also?
I don't recall getting any 35.9XX falses with my 9500ci, even while I was running it and DJ's V1 at the same time. It must be a southern California thing.
I have this false alert consistently in about 5 places, 3 of which are in my home town. Totally annoying. Almost cost me a ticket once as I was ignoring the alert and a LEO came rolling up running C/O 35.5Ka. My V1 nor neither of my 9500ix's alert to whatever this is, but occasionally my old SRX would. The 9500ci alerts to this all the time.
