About how often are camera database updates for the 9500ix released? I have registered on Escort's site. Do they email you or do you just have to check? Sorry for the newbie question and thanks in advance. I meant to call Escort and ask them today but forgot all about it when UPS showed up with my shiny new K&N CAI

Weekly, on Monday.

Also check your email provider's spam filters to make sure that their email messages don't get filtered out.

Oh wow, weekly huh. OK, well I only registered late Sunday so that's probably why I didn't get an email notification. But just downloaded the new one. Thanks folks. Appreciate you not roasting me for the uber-newbie questions.

No prob. I love newbie questions since newbies are simply trying to learn more. Besides, have you tried to search for something specific using the forum's search utility? Occasionally I still pull my hair out while trying to find an old topic or post!

I personally don't use the term "newbie" however, it is often the new comers who come up with the best and most insiteful questions.

I received an e-mail from Escort on April 6. In part it said,

While you may be accustomed to receiving these email updates on Mondays, we are announcing a change to our Weekly 9500ix and 9500ci Update Email Schedule. In an effort to bring you the best customer service, starting next week, our update emails will be sent to you on TUESDAYS.

X2, its changed to Tuesdays.
