Default Alerts When Storing Marked Location

I was just wondering if during the time when a 9500ix is automatically storing a marked "false" location, is the 9500ix not able to detect any radar/laser? I was wondering if during storing process the detector may miss a faint I/O signal which it would normally pick up had it not been busy processing and "storing" a location.

    Thanks

Good question. I'm sure it does pick up the signal, but I can't prove it.

It will alert to laser, Ka band source and any frequency that is out of the locked frequency. This is for any "locked out location". In a "marked" location, it will alert to all sources of radar and laser but you cannot "mark" a location when you are getting an alert.

Just yesterday, my 9500ci was detecting a signal, beeped and stored another signal, while still continuing to alert to a first signal the whole time.

The ix has the ability to see more than 1 threat/false at the same time. So unless the false that's being auto locked is the same as the additional radar frequency (KA and laser dont autolock) you will be alerted of the new alert. The "stored" message usually is announced at the end of a false lock out alert.

Also if you receive an alert in a marked speed trap area it will toggle between the alert and announce the marked location. Its pretty cool when I tested it.

Maybe I will post some Videos of how the 9500ix alerts during certain encounters. It does some pretty cool stuff.
The most interesting new thing the ix does is in a locked out area is, if a new signal is introduced it unlocks and reanalyzes the false location.

Good to see someone has seen this first hand. I just hope this is the same for the ix.

    Thanks
