    Default Truelock Problems

I have turned off the GPS filter on my ix for now. I have had many occasions that have made me concerned. I will try to get video evidence of this but a few days ago I triggered my Bushnell Speed in a locked out area... locked out signal is 24.176 and my gun transmits at 24.11-24.12 GHz. I pulled the trigger and guess what? Spinning satellite. Another instance. I go to another locked out location hold the trigger down and drive. First of all, the gun and the auto door transmit at completely different frequency of K (I leave my 9500ix in Spec Display) and different signal strength. I Drive down the road and the spinning icon continues on for over a mile at 40 mph where I am 100% positive haven't locked out anything else. I got the spinning icon the ENTIRE TIME. Is there any explanation because once in a blue moon the city I travel through frequently will use K band radar and many roads through there are completely under a lockout radius at some point where I have locked out a false?

So, you have completely turned off the GPS signal, and it still locks it out? How does it know where it is?

Let us know what you find out. Locking out a real source scares me. I think Escort should narrow the range at which it locks out a source.

Today I also had my first "locking out a real alert" incident. Luckily my 9500i has good enough range that it got the k band signal and started alerting before I even entered the lock out radius. It muted while I was in the radius and started alerting again once I got out. Since K band is so good on the 9500i I think this is what would happen in most situation. But then again, just to be safe, I lock out areas where I know I wouldn't go more than 5 over.

No, I turned off the GPS filter as a result of the problems. All that does is disable GPS lockout and marked locations.

For the record, nobody has received a ticket with TrueLock...as long as it is disabled.

X2, im always cautious where im locking out falses. I primarily lock out areas where I know I wouldn't speed.

If its a real Bushnell it should run at 24.150. The false running at 24.176 would possibly be in the same 30MHz block of the Bushnell. Also the lock out radius is in 1/10mi increments up to 1/2mi so its possible there may be multiple falses there that extended the lock out radius. use Expert mode to be sure, you will also get a separate notification of multiple alerts.
Its also a possibility that AutoLearn was on and added that to the lock out area. Did you ever use that Bushnell in that are before?

I noticed this problem on my ci this weekend for the first time. I got a K band alert on the V1 and looked at the ci display to see the spinning icon. I was on a road I don't usually travel but only a block or two over from a road I travel frequently. I guessed I was picking up a locked location from the shopping center 2 blocks away.

The K band signal from the v1 gets stronger and stronger so I slow suspecting something amiss. It was a speed sign but easily could have been a LEO. This is why I still have the V1 in all my vehicles.

I believe TL still has some major issues that need to be fixed.
