Hi,
Does the traffic photo has radar?
The reason I asked is my x50 did not go off, I thought that it should go off when there is a traffic photo nearby.
Thanks!

Speed cameras use radar while red light cameras use sensors in the ground. I think this is true for most cases.
Can you provide more details? What type of camera was this?
My bad, I think it is red light camera.
Coz. its on the intersection.
The x50 does not have the database of red light cameras like the 9500ix does incase you were confused there.
Newer Red Light Cameras where I drive use Laser to Target Offenders.
The X50 will pick up the RLC laser BUT BE WARNED:
1. The laser does not stay on continously.
2. If you where running the light and you get the laser warning it's too late, you are toast.
Get a 9500 ix if you want the GPS advance warning on RLC locations.
I don't intend to run over red lights, its just I'm confuse between the 2. RLC and Photo Camera for speed.
There are alot of RLC in my area and whenever I passed them or go near them my radar does not go off. So I thought I should ask here.
Thanks!
Where are you from? In Arizona, there are many intersections that are both speed cameras and red light cameras. These cameras do not use radar at all and they look similar to each other, so it is not easy to tell the combo cameras from the ones that are RLC only. The speed cameras on the highways do not use radar either. The mobile speed vans do use a weak K band radar signal that is very hard to detect.
my area uses white van parked next to the road and catch speeders with constant on laser.
