    Default instant on at 125mph

I was driving to LA from Phoenix at 3am on I10 traveling constantly 120-125mph on 75mph road with high beam on of course because i am the only one on the road.

I come up a hill on a curve that goes left and my escort x50 just goes off with KA and i just breaked until 80mph ish but i looked back and i noticed no lights so i just floored it until i was at the boarder of california...

so my question is did i break fast enought for him to read my speed with instant on?

or he got me going over 100 ish and he just gave up.

    Most likely the latter case.

Yeah, you can't beat instant on. Although usually they will put up the lights at least.

Hmm...3am...doing 125 mph...and you successfully negotiated a hill and a curve. I figure that the cop instantly knew that you weren't drunk and that he wasn't going to catch you before the state line.

Or maybe he saw 125 on the radar and said "Nahh, that can't be right!".

Like that scene in The Last Starfighter where the alien's car goes by a radar trap at 300 mph.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Thank God that The Last Starfighter never had a sequel.

If you have the ballz to drive it that fast. TrooperX said his crown vic felt like a radio flyer falling down a mountain at anything over 100.
