I have read the threads I could find concerning this, and the claim is the dots will freeze indicating a RD freeze or malfunction. Does anyone know if the voltage or speed (MPH) display would not have the same effect?
Being an old gear head having vehicle voltage is an asset to me, not necessary, but one less idiot light I need to rely on. But if the scanning dots is a better indication of the RD operation then wouldn't most of us prefer to monitor that?!
