My convo. about the Redline RD with CS.

you: I'm interested in the new redline
you: Is it going to be more sensitive than the sti and Valentine 1?
CS: The sensitivity of the redline picks up frequencies twice as often as the V1.
CS: There is nothing out there that can touch its range and sensitivity.
you: what is the price range?
you: availibility?
CS: The Redline will retail at 499.95 and will begin shipping in August.
you: is it more sensitive than the STI?
you: more sensitive and better than STI?
CS: Definitely. There isn't anything else out there that will touch it. With that being said, it is designed for long distance driving away from city driving. It would drive you nuts if you tried to use it for only city driving.

Dang... if everything is true about the Redline it may become a future V1 replacement for me.
Stealth and insane sensitivity... me like!
I wonder how its laser sensitivity will be. Yeah yeah I know, but if it's sensitive enough to pick up laser scatter like V1 while filtering out Infinitis, Escort will have a REAL winner here.

Let me cut through Escort's BS. The Redlight is a remote in a dashmount version. What you get in an STI R/9500CI in terms of performance. The Redlight is what the STI Driver should have been

It's o.k. to return it and spend another $100 for an Escort, PLUS you'll be better off for the experience

Yet, when I called the 1-800# and spoke with a CS rep, they had no idea of what product I was talking about; had never heard of the Redline; no pre-shipping since it didn't exist: blah blah blah.
