K band falses on Highway 101

Was driving on 101 between Santa Rosa, and San Francisco, and encountered alot of hits on K band. Just quick hits, maybe 2 seconds, then nothing. Anyone else travel this stretch of highway? Drones, maybe?
Very happy with my 8500 X50. Paid for itself already. Thanks gang!!

I wouldn't do that. You know as well as I do that if CHP knows people are ignoring K-band hits out there, they'll start parking cruisers with K-band handhelds to clock speeders. I'd go into the expert meter and keep an eye on the number of signals you're getting, or go into spec mode, check the frequency of the hit you're getting from the drones, then keep an eye on the X50 when it goes off to see if it's just picking up drones, or if there's a police unit running K to be sneaky.

As have I, and I've never seen a CHP car running K, but all the same, I wouldn't put it past any police force to, if they know lots of people are ignoring K-band alerts because of drones on the freeway, borrow some K-band handhelds from the locals and fire away.
