Since my old thread is closed...
Truelock locked out a LEO today.
This could have been ugly too.
I was about 1/2 mile away from an overpass and picked up a weak K-signal that maxed at about 50% before it fell to nothing just as I got to the hill.
I thought the hill was blocking the signal, or an oncoming LEO must have turned on the cross street I was driving over. When I got to the top of the overpass and heard no alert, I started looking down on the cross street for the LEO, but couldn't find him.
My mind went back to focusing on my next call until, about 1/2 a mile past the overpass, I see a county LEO with his customer. I look up at my ix and it is smiling back at me with the spinning icon!
The LEO had stopped his customer at an intersection that had two drug stores that were locked out......
I use the ix in my work vehicle because it is so quiet. This time, it was too quiet. (again)
