Well, it has been a year now living with the 9500ci installed on a red 87 Corvette.
I would have to say that overall I am very happy with it.
Pluses for it are, if it goes off in a area that I normally travel, i am on the brakes it is a real alert.
I also love the fact that it is hidden for the most part, but a few LEO's know what to look for.
I have had no issues with the True lock at all.
I also have had ZERO issues with the units as far as working.
On the Con side, the 9500ci is expensive and the Laser part does false if the sun is right or some cars seem to set it off, maybe 5 times in about 15,000 miles.
The shifters, I am not really sure how effective they are, but it is not a real problem in my area.
I really wish Escort would make or sell a 9500ci type unit without the shifters, but that is not likely.
I like it enough that I will put one on my restored Porsche as soon as I am able to afford it and get it finished.
I think the 928S4 and the Corvette are the kind of cars that the 9500ci is made for.
