Thanks for all of your support and recommendations, dslrip32 and the others that regularly post on our forum.
We are definitely very aware of the capabilities of our products and this "QT issue". We are not ignoring anything however we also do not see a lot of complaints about missing radar alerts. This is our business, not a hobby, so if our customers were regularly not receiving radar alerts from our products, it would be in our best interest to address it ASAP! Actually our business is doing very well even in this harsh economy and our customer satisfaction is excellent so this is not "the crisis" that some think it is or that others would like it to be.
As we have stated, and others have pointed out, this is not proper operation of radar equipment. If you have been burnt by this method of radar operation then I'm sorry to hear that, just be aware that any current detector can be defeated if radar equipment is used this way. If defeating detectors through not properly operating the equipment is the goal then there is no guarantee of detection no matter what detector you use.
We constantly continue to innovate detector products, more than any other company in the industry, so it is very possible that we will address this concern in the future should it become more prevalent.
PS please keep the name calling to a minimum.
