    Question 9500i/ix any service messages

Has anyone received a self-calibration or service required message since owning a 9500i or ix? I know the build quality is supposed to be superior to the older 8500 and x50's, and I think the 9500i has been out for about two years now, so I'm just curious if anyone has had any problems yet. I'm going to trade in my old passports and need to make a final decision if I should go with the 9500 or redline.

I've had the 9500Ix since it first came out and have never had a self cal message. I've had no issues with it at all.

IS this your unit or are you considering buying it ?

It needs servicing, back at the factory.

I had 3 9500I's since they came out as well as my current 9500ix and not one problem or service message on any of them. Seems to be one of the most reliable units out there when it comes to catastrophic events.

No service messages that I am aware of, but Z1NONLY's 9500 stopped performing well without any error messages.

No, I'm considering buying it. I just wanted to get a general opinion from members here about the quality of this unit. Judging from the responses it seems like the reliability/quality is greatly improved from previous models.

Well I went ahead and bought the 9500ix today. There seems to be too many problems with the Redline from the videos released.

SKU Product Item price Quantity Total

    0109500-3 Passport 9500ix $499.95 1 $499.95
TRADEINRADAR Escort Trade In Program $0.00 1 $0.00
    DBSUB-GCP3 3 Year Gold Package $49.95 1 $49.95

    Subtotal: $549.90
    Shipping cost: $15.00
    Total: $564.90

Where do you live? Have you ever owned a RD before?
