Well I have tested mine for a week, and NOT impressed at all. Basically a waste of money, when you can save $100.00 of your hard earned cash and get a V1 like I did. I have always owned Escorts for over 10 years. My experiences with the Redline include a glitch in k band against a permanent speed sign, 2 of them where the Redline did not pick it up after a clean boot of the device about 4 miles from the source. I stopped about 4 miles away and shut it off for about a minute. Then turned it on. Started my way toward the sign and all the way up to it showing my speed, then "Wham" it went off. Same thing basically on KA 35.5 one time only. K band was just fine once running for awhile with other alerts and coming up to these signs, as it would pick it up about 2 miles from the source. The redline is buggy, which is probably software bugs, and Escort knows this as it was mentioned to Cbr in a phone call to customer support. I called customer support and was told to leave a message with an Expert Redline tech named "Aaron". He never called back the next day so I called him back and was told he was on another line and I had to leave another V/M. Finally he called me back and knew I had a 9500ix and told me to run the 2 together for a comparison, one on top and the other on the bottom as far apart as possible. I asked him if they would interfere and he said "NO" that high end detectors do not interfere with each other. hmmm After this I was done with mine. Cbr asked over on Escort forum that if anyone wanted to send their Redline to him then he would be more than glad to test it. I was first to take him up on this offer and sent mine overnight to him, which he will have it in hand at 10:30 in the morning Friday, this Friday. He may or may not experience the glitches I did with mine, but we will find out. He and his friends are a valuable asset to this hobby, and that is why I took him up on his offer of sending a complete stranger my Redline for testing rather then sending it back to Escort. Escort will lie just like they did before to me in the past about issues that I will not mention. When he is done testing it, and I told him to take his time, no hurry here as I have a V1 protecting me, then he will ship it back to me with the already pre-paid label included in the box. If he does not find anything at all wrong with it, no problem, I will either send it back to Escort if I still have time and get my hard earned cash back, or if it is out of the 30 days limit I will get some of my cash back from selling it on Ebay. I appreciate everyone here that do these tests in real world, including GOL guys, and many more/too many to list. Good work guys! Thumbs up! And a salute to you all!
